Proven Leadership. Real Results. A Voice for All of Summit.

Three years ago, Councilwoman Delia Hamlet made history as a write-in candidate, earning the trust of Ward One residents by fewer than 40 votes. From day one, she promised to serve all of Summit—not a political party—and she’s kept that promise. Her team has always included Republicans, Democrats, and independents, united by one goal: putting Summit first.

Since taking office, Delia has delivered meaningful results for Summit families and neighborhoods. She led the effort to stop the Broad Street West project, protected the city from overdevelopment, and helped secure immunity for Round Three housing requirements—keeping local control in Summit’s hands.

Her leadership has strengthened public safety through responsible budgeting, the hiring of additional police officers, and new crime-deterrent measures. She also launched the Mayor’s Homeless Task Force, uniting city departments, nonprofits, and community leaders to reach Functional Zero homelessness in just 14 months—a milestone reflected in cleaner streets, accessible public spaces, and housed residents.

Delia’s dedication extends to enhancing Summit’s quality of life. Working with the Department of Community Programs, she’s helped improve playgrounds, recreation spaces, and family-friendly amenities that make Summit such a special place to live.

As this election approaches, Delia reminds residents that the progress made is not guaranteed. The city’s fight against overdevelopment, public safety investments, and even the future of Tatlock Field could be at stake.

Vote for Councilwoman Delia Hamlet this November—to keep Summit safe, strong, and moving forward.
