A resident of Summit since 2003, Kevin has been actively involved in the city for many years. He is committed to preserving our community and is running for Summit Common Council At-Large and will work hard to keep Summit a thriving and vibrant place to live and work. A business owner in downtown Summit for 16 years, his children attended Lincoln-Hubbard and are currently in 9th grade at the Summit High School and 6th grade at the Lawton C. Johnston Summit Middle School.
He served on the Summit Downtown Inc. (SDI) Board for 7 years as Vice Chairman and Chairman. Kevin also served on the Police Athletic League (PAL) for 6 years and as President for 2 years. His greatest pleasure has been coaching his children in basketball at the Community Recreational Center and the Summit Basketball Club.
With a strong belief in the importance of fiscal responsibility, he is passionate about ensuring taxpayers’ hard-earned money is invested in projects that will benefit the city and its residents. Kevin also believes in public participation in the decision-making process and wants to ensure that community members have a say in how their tax dollars are spent and how their community is shaped. He is a strong advocate for transparency, accountability, and resident engagement.
Overall, Kevin is committed to working collaboratively with other council members and community members to ensure that the best interests of our residents are served. He looks forward to the opportunity to represent Summit and make a positive impact in our city.
