Together For Summit Announces 2026 Council Ticket
The 2026 Summit Common Council election is about more than choosing two candidates. It is about choosing the direction of our city. Together For Summit was created to keep local government focused on the issues that matter most to residents: safe neighborhoods, responsible spending, strong schools, quality-of-life improvements, and transparent decision-making. We are excited to announce the next chapter of that mission as former Councilwoman Delia Hamlet joins Councilman Jamel Boyer on the Together For Summit ticket. Together, they bring a proven record of independent leadership, thoughtful governance, and a commitment to putting Summit residents, not partisan politics, first.
Today, Together For Summit is proud to officially announce that former Councilwoman Delia Hamlet will join Councilman Jamel Boyer on the Together For Summit ticket for the upcoming Summit Common Council election.
Delia Hamlet will be replacing Bob Pawlowski on this year’s ticket as Together For Summit continues building a team focused on protecting Summit’s neighborhoods, strengthening public safety, supporting our schools and student athletes, and keeping local government focused on Summit residents — not political distractions.
During her time on council, Delia Hamlet built a reputation as an independent voice who was never afraid to ask difficult questions, challenge the status quo, and advocate for taxpayers and residents across Summit. Her return to the ticket alongside Jamel Boyer brings together two experienced leaders committed to transparency, accountability, and common-sense leadership.
“Together For Summit was built on the idea that local government should focus on local issues,” said Nick Curiale, Chairman of the Summit Republican City Committee. “Families want leadership that is present, accessible, and focused on the day-to-day issues impacting our community — public safety, taxes, infrastructure, recreation, and protecting the quality of life that makes Summit special. Delia and Jamel understand that mission.”
The Together For Summit team remains committed to responsible fiscal management, protecting neighborhood character, supporting first responders, investing in community infrastructure, and ensuring residents always have a voice at City Hall.
As the campaign moves forward, Together For Summit looks forward to connecting directly with residents across every neighborhood in Summit and continuing its grassroots approach centered around community, accountability, and results.
